The cause of death for “16 and Pregnant” star Jordan Cashmyer was determined Wednesday as drug intoxication.
According to the Maryland Department of Health’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner, Cashmyer had fentanyl, despropionyl fentanyl, and cocaine in her system when she died on January 15 at the age of 26.
According to the agency, the mode of death is “undetermined,” which means it is unclear if the overdose was accidental or purposeful.

Jessica Cashmyer, Cashmyer’s stepmother, initially confirmed Jordan’s death on her Father, Dennis M. Cashmyer Jr.’s Facebook page, accompanying a black-and-white photo of the late reality star.
Jordan starred in the MTV reality show with her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor, and their daughter, Genevieve “Evie” Shae Taylor, in 2014.
Jordan struggled with addiction and was arrested for drug possession in 2017, just two years after turning over temporary custody rights to Taylor’s mother.
