Grayson Allen has one sibling; an adopted brother named Tonan Ferrell.

Tonan Ferrell was Allen’s best friend growing up. He was the closest thing he had to a brother.

Grayson James Allen was born in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, to his parents, Sherry Allen and William Allen.
Per LinkedIn, his mom Sherry has worked in human resources for around 20 years.
She began her career in 2000, working eight years as a human resource manager for Flagler Development.
After working for North Florida Management Services, Sherry accepted her current job as the Director of Human Resources at Children’s Educational Services in 2016.
On the other hand, his dad William is a government contractor.

Despite neither of his parents working in basketball, Allen developed an interest in the game at a young age.
