Who was Michael Zillig? Following the founder’s unexpected death, the 16-clinic Botox enterprise folds.

Following the owner’s unexpected death, a network of cosmetic clinics closed, leaving hundreds of angry clients waiting for procedures out of pocket.

Before going out of business on March 14, Injectable Institute Australia (IIA), a Company known for its botox injections, ran 16 cosmetic clinics throughout Sydney.

Following an application by IIA manager Juliet Young for winding up, the NSW Supreme Court appointed Cor Cordis liquidators to IIA.

A week after the funeral of Michael Zillig, the Company’s only director and owner, who passed away on January 29 at the age of 56, Ms. Young applied in February.

Who Was Michael Zillig? Michael Zillig was the Company’s only director and owner, who died on January 29 at 56.

Customers of IIA received text messages telling them that the Company was closing down as a result of the owner’s passing in February.

According to the Daily Telegraph, NSW Fair Trading received 138 complaints about IIA in the same month, making it the most complained-about Company in the entire state.

Mr. Zillig was originally from the Victorian town of Kyneton, and according to a notice of his funeral that appeared in the neighborhood paper, he “passed away suddenly.”

He was a Sydney partner at Lowensteins Arts Management and an accountant.

IIA has clinics in the Sydney CBD, the Sutherland Shire, the NSW Central Coast, and Macarthur when registered as a business in 2015.

Cor Cordis stated that a creditors’ report would be released by June and that it was “continuing to quantify the Company’s debts.”

The single shareholder and director of the Company, who was also its only office bearer, passed away, according to a spokesman. “The business is bankrupt,”

Posts from people alleging they are owed up to $8900 for treatments they paid for but were not given can be found in a Facebook group of disgruntled clients.

Although this number has yet to be verified, it has been stated that 165 persons have already filed a claim with Cor Cordis.

The Facebook group’s organizers claimed they had spoken with attorneys and created it intending to gain support for a class action.

There are 235 members in the group, and many have stated they successfully got refunds through bank chargebacks.

The IIA Facebook page was updated on February 22 by Cor Cordis with a message alerting users that the Company had discontinued operations and that consumers might email their claims.

Nearly 200 people commented on the page; most were irate consumers who had already paid hundreds or thousands of dollars for subsequent treatments.
