At the age of 29, he resigned as a captain and purchased a cottage in the Wiltshire community of Whiteparish to pursue an artistic career.

He created the regiment’s Christmas card while serving in the army and caricatured his fellow troops to sell for five dollars each time. But at the time, it appeared to be a hasty choice.

After years of struggling, Bryn Parry finally rose to prominence as a cartoonist, establishing the Bryn Parry Studios as a design and gift company that offered aprons, mouse mats, and mugs decorated with his imaginative creations like Wocker Cocker and Mrs. Aga.
