The native of Limerick held head coaching positions with Crescent College Comprehensive SJ, Garryowen, and Cork Constitution after transitioning to coaching.
He had worked for the IRFU since 2014, holding coaching positions with the Ireland U19 and U20 Men’s, Ireland Women’s 7s, and Ireland Women’s 15s for three years, winning the 2015 Women’s Six Nations Championship, among other accolades.
Since 2021, he has worked with the province’s Academy and National Talent Squad players out of Munster Rugby’s High-Performance Centre in UL as the IRFU National Talent Coach.
