The incident occurred on Monday when the vehicle Zakrzewski was traveling in was struck by an incoming Fire in Horenka, located outside the capital city of Kyiv in Ukraine.
Later on Tuesday, Fox News confirmed that Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova had also lost her life in the same attack that claimed Zakrzewski’s life.
Kuvshynova, aged just 24, was working on the ground as a consultant for Fox News during the course of the Russian invasion.
