Merkel, TX – Victor Roe, a compassionate and devoted Plumber Assistant at Batjer & Associates from Merkel, Texas, has left this world, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the young age of 23, Victor Lee Roe, born on August 1, 2000, in Abilene, TX to Nicole Roe and Nicholas Roe, bid farewell to the earthly realm.
Briley Roe shared Victor Roe’s death news and wrote,
“Best friend, brother, business partnerGone but never forgotten. Victor Roe I hoped this day would never come. Here we are. Too my brother and best friend I love you more then words can describe. I was w you from beginning to the end. All the late nights, and early mornings. partying, drinking, church on Sundays and fighting on Fridays. Not a single moment will be forgotten. The best brother, uncle, cousin, son, grandson, and person. Anyone who knew Victor knew he had a huge heart. Please keep my family in your prayers. Fly high brother, until we meet again.”
Victor Lee Roe’s journey began in Abilene, Texas, but it was in Merkel, Texas, that he truly grew and blossomed. Graduating from Merkel High School in 2019, he ventured into the plumbing profession, dedicating himself to learn and excel in his field. His dedication and hard work were further showcased as he co-owned Poppin’ Parties with his brother Briley.
His heart was as vast as the skies, filled with love for his family, especially his mother and brothers, creating an unbreakable bond among them. His beloved dog Hercules was his faithful companion, and they shared numerous adventures, especially their cherished fishing escapades. Victor’s giving nature knew no bounds, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. He adored spending time with the children in the family, creating beautiful memories with them.
A man of faith, Victor was deeply connected to his church, finding solace and purpose in his spiritual journey. His passing was preceded by his uncle Victor Eugene Roe, but he leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will forever remain in the hearts of his mother Nicole Roe, father Nicholas Roe, brothers Briley Roe and Carson Roe, and a host of family and friends.

The visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2023 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and the funeral service will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00PM all at the Calvary Baptist Church, 506 Runnels, Merkel, TX. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel. A lunch will be served at 12:30PM, directly before the service, at the church. Everyone is welcome.
