The American football player is the #10 wide receiver (WR) for NFL’s Miami Dolphins.
The Kansas City Chiefs selected Hill in the 2016 NFL Draft. After spending three years with the Chiefs, he transferred to the Dolphins in March 2022, becoming the league’s highest-paid WR.
He previously represented Garden City Community College, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and the University of West Alabama in college football.

Tyreek Hill Assault: Child Abuse Case
Tyreek Hill was a part of a child abuse investigation in March 2019. He was investigated for alleged battery following an incident that had left his three-year-old son with a broken arm.
The following month, the son was placed into temporary care due to an emergency hearing carried out by the Kansas Department of Children and Families.
On April 24 that year, Steve Howe, the Johnson County District Attorney, stated that although his office believed a crime had been committed, the evidence did not enable them to conclude the perpetrator.
The Kansas Department of Children and Families continued to investigate the case.

On April 25, an audio recording of Hill and Crystal Espinal, his fiancée, was released, where they were discussing the injury to their son.
In the surfaced recording, the duo talks about their son’s broken arm; Espinal says that their son is scared of Hill. Hill responds, saying, “You should be afraid of me too.”
Consequently, the criminal investigation into Hill was re-opened. On June 7, prosecutors announced the case against Hill was inactive.
However, days later, reports stated that medical investigations showed the boy’s arm was broken by accident and likely due to a fall.
On July 9, the full unedited audio was released, where Hill accuses Espinal of lying about the previous domestic violence case in 2014 and about him breaking their son’s arm.
On July 19 that year, the NFL released a statement saying Hill would not be suspended as they found no evidence that he violated the personal conduct policy.
They added the incident would be re-examined if new evidence emerged.
Tyreek Hill Was Previously The Subject Of Another Domestic Assault Conviction
On December 12, 2014, Tyreek Hill was arrested on complaints of the assault of his then-20-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal.
Stillwater Police records indicated that the two got into an argument, and Hill punched Espinal in the face and stomach, threw her “like a rag doll,” and choked her.

Oklahoma State suspended him from their football team after the charges.
Hill eventually pleaded guilty to the battery by strangulation and domestic assault.
He received three years of probation, a year-long batterer’s program, and an anger-management course.

No, Tyreek Hill is not arrested. Despite the domestic violence case and allegations, he was acquitted due to the contrary evidence.
