In a horrifying incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, 36-year-old Tyrone Pinnock was tragically stabbed to death on a bustling footbridge in west London. The Metropolitan Police have identified Pinnock as the victim of this brutal attack, appealing urgently for witnesses to come forward to aid their investigation.
The grisly discovery was made on Thursday evening at 6:40 PM on Kensal Road when a member of the public spotted Pinnock, his body bearing stab wounds. Distressed witnesses aboard a passing bus immediately raised the alarm, shouting in desperation that he had been stabbed. Despite swift response from police officers who administered first aid and sought assistance from paramedics, Pinnock succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
The Metropolitan Police Department, although yet to officially confirm his identity, publicly disclosed Tyrone Pinnock’s name on Saturday. Family members have been notified and are currently receiving support from specially trained police personnel. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command of the Metropolitan Police are leading the investigation and are keen to speak with anyone who might have information about the stabbing. Particularly, they are interested in accounts from individuals who were traveling on Harrow Road between Bravington Road and Third Avenue during the critical hours of 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson urged the public for their cooperation, stating, “This happened in the early evening on a busy footbridge that crosses Harrow Road. Several people have spoken to us already and I want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or has any information that could help our investigation.” Community members and witnesses are encouraged to assist the police in their pursuit of justice for Tyrone Pinnock, whose untimely demise has left the neighborhood in a state of profound grief and disbelief.
