The song, which emerged seemingly out of nowhere, has already racked up over 32 million views on YouTube, showcasing Anthony’s distinctive voice and emotional delivery that resonates across genres.
Despite its apparent authenticity, a closer look at the lyrics raises questions. Anthony‘s song touches on a range of topics that evoke strong reactions, from taxation to conspiracy theories. One key mystery is the reference to “minors on an island,” which seems to tie back to the disturbing case of Jeffrey Epstein, who faced charges related to sex trafficking and exploitation of minors. Epstein’s crimes were notably committed on his private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In his recent facebook post, he stated:
“This will be my last post about politics on social media. I apologize for beating a dead horse, but I just need to address this quote in my video earlier, since it’s been misquoted / misinterpreted this evening. Corporate news (big surprise) is now trying to twist me into being a Biden supporter. 
“That song has nothing to do with Joe Biden, it’s a lot bigger than Joe Biden” is referencing DeSantis’ response to my song. He talks about needing to get Joe Biden out, as if that would automatically solve all the problems. Biden is a big part of the issue, bit it runs much deeper.
Rich Men North of Richmond is about corporate owned DC politicians on both sides. Though Biden’s most certainly a problem, the lyrics aren’t exclusively knocking Biden, it’s bigger and broader than that. It’s knocking the system collectively. Including the corporate owned conservative politicians that were on stage that night.”

Expressing his strong condemnation of child exploitation, he firmly states that taking advantage of children is one of the gravest actions a person can commit. He speaks out against the normalization of such crimes but remains somewhat vague about the specifics. This vagueness has drawn parallels to past conspiracy theories like PizzaGate and QAnon’s Wayfair allegations.
Apart from trafficking, Anthony also voices opinions about welfare in his song. He criticizes welfare programs, particularly what he terms “obese milkin’ welfare,” and further comments on the size of individuals benefitting from public assistance.
