Rassie Erasmus is a renowned South African rugby union coach and former player and served as the head coach of the South African national team from 2018 to the end of their 2019 World Cup Campaign.
As the player, Rassie led South Africa to win the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2019 World Rugby Coach of the Year award.
The former rugby player played for the Free State, the Golden Lions, the Cats, and the Stormers, and between 1997 and 2001, he won 36 caps for South Africa, including playing at the 1999 Rugby World Cup.
