Rashmika Mandanna Sparks Controversy as she talks about her upcoming movie and calls South Indian Superstar Yash “Show-Off.”

Rashmika Mandanna, the nation’s favorite Actress, maybe enmeshing herself in controversy to the point where it hinders the release of her future movies Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun and Varisu with Vijay in her State of Karnataka.

There are many rumors that the Pushpa heroine’s films will be permanently banned in the State due to the Kannada cinema industry’s plans to take action against her.

After making her Bollywood debut, the Goodbye Actress has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The Actress made her film debut with Kiraak Party and has been giving promotional interviews to the Hindi and English media.

In one of these interviews, she shared her journey to becoming an Actress without mentioning the production Company that launched her.

She reportedly chose not to mention the name of Paramvah Studios, which was co-founded by her ex-fiance, Rakshit Shetty.

This infuriated his supporters and the Kannada internet community, and many dubbed her ungrateful and said she showed no respect for the film industry that helped launch her career.

One must forget the Kannada film Kirik Party, which was directed by Rishab Shetty and served as her introduction to the entertainment industry.

However, she frequently finds herself at the center of disputes involving Kannadigas.

Mandanna recently discussed her first movie during an interview. She said, in air quotes, “production House,” omitting the House’s name.

Although she avoided naming anyone, it is clear that she gently painted a negative picture of the Kannada business. Notably, Rakshit Shetty, Shetty’s close buddy and co-producer of Kirik Party, also acted in the film.

While this was happening, Shetty, the Kantara star, participated in an interview where he was asked to select his next movie’s cast from Mandanna, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Keerthy Suresh, and Sai Pallavi.

Shetty chose Prabhu and Pallavi while using air quotes a la Mandanna, saying, “I don’t like such type of actors.” This made it evident that he was criticizing Mandanna’s interview.

Recall that Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty, of Charlie 777 fame, were dating and engaged to be married.

Their romance began during the shooting of the Kirik Party, and they became engaged in 2017. Shortly after getting engaged, they decided against getting married for unspecified reasons.

Will Rashmika Mandanna Be Ban From Kannada Film Industry? 

According to a recent source, Mandanna would face a lifetime ban in Karnataka for constantly disparaging Kannada films and actresses in interviews.

According to rumors, the KFI board, theater owners, and Kannada organizations have debated whether to ban films that include Mandanna. It has yet to be declared formally.

In 2017, Mandanna made waves when she referred to KGF star Yash as “Mr. show off.” When she participated in a talk show, the host asked her to name an Actor who was “Mr. show off,” and she immediately said Yash.

She apologized after it infuriated some fans and said she only named it for the game’s sake. Despite Kannada being her native tongue, Mandanna was criticized by Kannadigas in 2021 for refusing to do the dubbing for Pushpa: The Rise in Kannada.

During the movie’s promotion, she expressed regret for the same and promised to subtitle the second half.
