Rasean Patterson And Dahviere Griswold Arrested For The Murder Of Brexialee Torres Ortiz
Brexialee Torres-Ortiz, 11, was shot & killed on Oakwood Avenue after purchasing milk for her family.
Police have arrested two people in connection with her killing. On January 25, 2023, both Dahviere Griswold, 20, and Rasean Patterson, 18, were arrested, according to YouTube.
They were accused of second-degree murder and put on trial. They are scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.

The third suspect, a 16-year-old kid, was charged on Friday with second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder, and second-degree unlawful handgun possession.
State Police helped state Police apprehend the third suspect, a 16-year-old boy who has not been identified, near Lincolndale, New York, according to a tweet from Syracuse early on Friday. He is accused of the same offenses as Griswold and Patterson.
The 16-year-old boy was a “resident of a juvenile facility” & was away from the establishment on the day Brexialee was killed.
Around 7:42 pm on January 16, the suspects allegedly opened Fire while inside a car. The purported target, according to Fitzpatrick, was a 19-year-old guy who was shot in the leg. He is anticipated to live.

According to Syracuse Police, the incident happened close to Dr. King Elementary. Police said that Brexialee, who was carrying milk, was returning home from a local grocery store when the suspects in a stolen car started shooting at another car.
After Brexialee’s passing, the three were “immediately” found, according to Fitzpatrick. According to Cecile, the car featured on the CCTV film was stolen and immediately located because it had been discarded.

The youngster had previously made the trip to the neighborhood corner store, but this time she was shot and killed close to her home.
Brexialee’s third-grade teacher at Seymour-Dual Language Academy, a Syracuse City School District teacher, remembers the wonderful child and talented Brexi was.
