Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, was admitted to the hospital in his hometown of Faisalabad amidst widespread rumors suggesting that he had suffered a cardiac arrest. However, reports in local media clarified that Sanaullah, aged 68, was discharged from the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology (FIC) after a short period of treatment for his elevated blood pressure.
On Sunday, the prominent PML-N leader was admitted to the hospital due to a concerning blood pressure reading of 160/120 mmHg, highlighting the severity of his multiple complications.
Hospital officials informed the media that the minister’s condition has improved, and various tests were conducted to assess the possibility of a heart attack, yielding positive results. This indicates the need for careful observation and monitoring for an experienced politician like Sanaullah.
In the meantime, cardiologists have advised the fiery politician to take a few days of rest in order to avoid stress. It is worth noting that Sanaullah had undergone a routine check-up and minor surgery at the hospital last year.
