Milton, MA – Tragedy struck outside the famed Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus on Saturday night as Patrick Kenney Jr., 42, hailing from Milton, succumbed to a fatal stabbing. Authorities, including Paul F. Tucker, Essex County’s district attorney, and Saugus Police Chief Michael Ricciardelli, confirmed the grim incident.
On December 2, around 9 p.m., Kenney Jr. was discovered with a knife wound in the parking lot of Kowloon, situated at 948 Broadway, Saugus. Despite immediate medical attention, Boston’s Mass General Hospital pronounced him dead.
Described by family members as a devoted husband and father to young twin children, Kenney’s tragic loss has deeply affected his loved ones.
Detectives from the Saugus Police Department and the State Police Detective Unit of the Essex County District Attorney’s Office are actively investigating the incident. No arrests have been made as of the latest report.

The unfortunate incident follows an altercation just two weeks prior on Thanksgiving Eve within the restaurant’s premises. Reports indicate a skirmish involving a group of young males, resulting in injuries caused by an individual wielding a glass bottle. Saugus police had announced charges against four individuals in connection to the earlier altercation, with further details pending.
The relationship, if any, between the four individuals involved in the previous altercation and the current tragic incident remains unclear. Details regarding additional charges or developments related to the recent stabbing are yet to be disclosed.
