Nikki Catsouras Dead Body: Death Photographs Face And Controversy

The Catsouras catastrophe was “so horrific the coroner wouldn’t let her parents identify their daughter’s body,” according to Newsweek.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers took pictures of the site as part of their typical response to deadly traffic accidents.

Colleagues received these pictures, and they also found them online.

Aaron Reich and Thomas O’Donnell, two CHP workers, acknowledged sharing the images against Company protocol.

While Reich said that he had transmitted the photos to four other persons, O’Donnell claimed in interviews that he had only sent them to his own email account for further perusal.

Catsouras’ parents found the web images. The images had received much attention, and even a bogus MySpace tribute website linked to the images.

The Catsouras family received copies of the images sent anonymously via email with deceptive topic headers, with one photograph sent to the Father bearing the comment, “Daddy, yay! Hello, dad. I’m still here.”

As a result, the Catsouras family stopped using the Internet, and they started homeschooling their youngest daughter out of fear that the pictures might tease her.

In his 2016 film Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World, Werner Herzog examined the case’s components of internet harassment.

Although time helps you heal any pain, things became harsher for the Bryant family after the crash photographs were leaked.
