At the time of his untimely departure, he was 30 years old. Georgia, his fiancée, shared that Lachie passed away in her arms on their secluded property.

A service to honor and celebrate Lachie’s life took place at the Quirindi Rugby Club on Friday, December 18, 2020, starting at 1 pm.
Furthermore, a private cremation was also held, following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requested donations to be made to the Quirindi Rugby Club.
A donation box was made available at the Club and the attendees were encouraged to wear colorful attire to remember Lachie in a vibrant way.
