The family of Jaymez Wilburn is urgently seeking assistance from the community and law enforcement as they desperately try to locate their missing 11-year-old child. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public appeal for help in finding Jaymez, who was last seen on Thursday night, sparking concerns among family members.

Officials confirmed that the call reporting Jaymez as missing came in just after 11:00 p.m. Deputies were swiftly dispatched to a residence in the 2100 block of Adams Avenue following the distressing report. Jaymez, who has been diagnosed with autism, was noticeably absent from home, prompting immediate action.

According to information provided by Jaymez’s family, the child attended Ballard Middle School and was present in all of their classes earlier in the day. However, Jaymez did not walk home with their siblings as usual, and they failed to meet up. Realizing that he had not returned home, the family initiated a search throughout the vicinity where he might have gone. Subsequently, deputies were summoned to the scene to assist in the search effort.

Jessica Wilburn shared a post on facebook for the missing person Jaymez Wilburn. She sai that:

“Hey Facebook my son Jaymez is missing if you see him please inbox me as soon as possible please my son missing Lord bring my baby home 😭😭😭😭😭 He’s 11 years old”.

The family’s concern for Jaymez’s current location and well-being is palpable. Deputy sheriffs are currently scouring the neighborhood in a dedicated effort to locate the missing child. Jaymez Wilburn is described as an 87-pound black male, approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall, with dark hair and dark brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a blue jacket, blue pants, burgundy, black, and white Nike sneakers, and a polo shirt with a Burgundy logo.
