Most times you open up your eyes and the nightmares are gone, just a few minutes to grab your bearings and on ward you go. Now the nightmare starts the minute I open my eyes. The only peace I find is when I close my eyes and see that adolescent young full of life kid I find in my dreams, just happy to be apart of whatever trouble me and my friends were getting into. I beg to wonder why us, why my family why my little baby brother. The answers may never be found, but that’s ok somethings I guess are better left unanswered. I know that I must stay strong for my family. I’m broken inside but I can’t seem to find the words to make me accept what’s to come. The only things I can seem to find are mad, sad, disappointed and broken. This space can never be filled. We’ve done it all together from racing Dirtbikes to snocross and now mega trucks. Just know I love you little brother and I hope you find piece wherever you are. We’ll love and miss you forever. It’s not goodbye but see you later.
