According to sources, Bryan’s mother, MaryAnn Kohberger, is a 62-year-old paraprofessional who works with students.

The statement started with sadness about the incident and the Kohbergers’ condolences. They added that they pray for the deceased and their family.
However, they also stated that they would continue to support their son and let the legal process unfold.
Kohberger’s parents promoted their son’s “presumption of innocence” rather than making erroneous assumptions.

Bryan Kohberger Arrested For Four Idaho Murders
On December 30, 2022, authorities arrested Bryan Kohberger from his parent’s House in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
FBI Swat Team and the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kohberger. He was arrested for one felony count of burglary and four counts of first-degree murder.
Kohberger was appointed a public defender and detained at the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Stroudsburg without a bond.

The 28-year-old is scheduled to return to court on January 3, 2023, for a hearing on the case.
According to authorities, Bryan Christopher Kohberger is from Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, and was arrested from his parent’s home in Chestnuthill Township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
Kohberger’s public defender, Jason LaBar, told the media on January 2 that Bryan and his Father, Michael, were pulled twice in Indiana.
LaBar said ABC News that, while driving from Pullman, Washington, to the Poconos, Bryan, and Michael were pulled over approximately an hour apart, once for tailgating and once for speeding.
