Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson Spoke Out On Sister’s Cancer Diagnosis
The reality television sister shared a heartfelt post soon after news broke of her sister’s stage 4 adrenal carcinoma diagnosis.
The young star wrote in an Instagram story with a screenshot of the TMZ article that broke the news, stating:
“By saying that you never really know what someone is going through at home, I mean this. No matter how well-known they may be.”
“Yes, I’m famous, but normal stuff still happens to me and my family, and you all need to understand that as soon as possible,” added Alana.

On the 2019 TLC series Toddlers & Tiaras, Anna and her teenage sister made an appearance alongside their mother, Mama June Shannon, 43.

TMZ reported that the cancer was found in Anna’s liver, kidney and lung after a series of tests following her complaint about stomach aches.
