Fond du Lac, WI – November 29, 2023: The tight-knit community of Fond du Lac is grappling with the devastating news of the passing of Goodrich High School alumnus, Josh Stueber. Born on November 13, 1981, Josh left an indelible mark on those who knew him, and his sudden demise on November 29, 2023, has left the community in mourning.
Josh Stueber’s journey began at Goodrich High School, where he graduated in 2000 before pursuing a sheet metal apprenticeship at Fox Valley Technical College. His professional path led him to Groeschel Company and later to JF Ahern, where he not only excelled in his work but also served as a mentor to aspiring apprentices.
Active both professionally and in the community, Josh was a proud member of the Fond du Lac Rugby Club. Beyond his work, he found joy in outdoor activities such as snowboarding, camping, and hunting. Known for his craftsmanship, Josh took pleasure in creating items for others, showcasing his skills as a skilled metalworker.
Survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Scarlett Jae and Rowan Michelle, Josh’s roles as a father and husband were marked by excellence. He is also survived by his mother, Sue (Brad) Billman, siblings Ryan (Emily) Billman and Trent Vossekuil, and his beloved dog Zulu.
The Fond du Lac community and beyond mourn the loss of a vibrant individual whose magnetic personality endeared him to all. His legacy extends to his extended family, including father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Marge Miller, sister-in-law Michelle (Brad) Jorgensen, and nephews Eli Jorgensen and Benjamin Jorgensen.
Visitation in memory of Josh Stueber will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, located at 524 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A time of remembrance will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM. Cremation has taken place, honoring Josh’s wishes.
