In an exclusive interview with Stereogum, she shared that the song can be interpreted as both romantic and anti-romantic, presenting a conflict or contradiction that she has been searching for in love songs.

Faye Webster, born on June 25, 1997, was raised in a musical family in Atlanta, Georgia. She started exploring songwriting at the young age of 14. Her debut studio album, “Run and Tell,” was self-released when she was 16, on October 30, 2013.
Faye Webster achieved her first notable chart success with her third studio album, “Atlanta Millionaires Club,” released on May 24, 2019. The album reached number 25 on the Billboard Heatseekers album chart.
Following the triumph of her third album, Faye Webster released her fourth studio album, “I Know I’m Funny Haha,” on June 25, 2021.
