Responding to reports of a shooting at 10:48 p.m., officers rushed to the intersection of Queen Street North and York Boulevard. At the plaza’s southwest corner, they discovered Musafiri suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being taken to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
