Cloete Murray was a well-known insolvency practitioner who has been doing the job since 1996. His professional career kicked off at the Master of the High Court.
Later, he also acquired further experience at Stabilitas Board of Executors and Limvaal Trustees. Also, Murray was a founder and director of Sechaba Trust. Similarly, Murray was regularly nominated by SARS to be appointed in various capacities.
He even served on the national board of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association. Moreover, Cloete played an instrumental role in modernizing these organizations’ structure and area of operations.
Currently, the people close to Murray are devastated as the recent update shows that Cloete passed away in the hospital after being shot in the road while his son died. Keep reading to find out more.
Cloete Murray Death: Insolvency Practitioner Died in Hospital After Being Shot
Cloete Murray death news has been circulating like Fire as recently he was announced dead. On Saturday, Murray drove on the N1 North with his son, Tom Murray.
During that time, a gunman opened Fire on his car, and the father-son duo sustained injuries. Unfortunately, Cloete’s son, Tom, passed away on the spot while Cloete was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police spokesperson Col Dimakatso Sello said that it was an attempted murder that was being investigated. His son was reported to be 28 years old at the time of his death, while Murray is said to be in the line of 50s.
Emergency Care Practitioners worked fervently to stabilize Cloete before he was transported instantly by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
Sadly, Cloete couldn’t survive, and it was reported that he passed away on a Sunday Morning at around 7 am. He was reportedly shot in the head, and the bullet was lodged in his brain.

Cloete Murray Obituary: Tributes Are Pouring on Social Media
The official obituary of Cloete Murray has not been released at the time of this post, but sources have already claimed that he had taken his last breath this morning.
The Bosasa’s court-appointed liquidator was shot in the head. As mentioned earlier, his son, who worked as his legal advisor and they, were together during the assassination.

Tom was declared dead at the scene, while Cloete was taken to the hospital and announced dead later. Following the news, people close to him began paying tribute to him on social media.
One social media user wrote that the Murrays exposed corruption related to powerful working politicians in the Bosasa liquidation inquiry.

Are the Cloete Murray Shooting Suspect Arrested?

The circumstances that led to the shooting incident are unknown at this stage. The shooting suspect was not arrested at the time of this post, but the Police department is actively working to find more details.
