“Very sad to learn of our fabulous colleague Carrie Knowlton-Trider has left us and gone to Heaven. She was such a sweet gal, always smiling always positive. My condolences to her beautiful family and friends and RE/MAX family she will be sadly missed. May God comfort those hurting and wrap His feathers around you tightly and wipe your tears.”

Carrie Knowlton-Trider was born and raised in Cole Harbour, and later settled in Lawrencetown, where she built a loving home with her husband, son, and daughter. She received her high school diploma from Cole Harbour District and continued her education by enrolling in courses at NSAR (Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS) and St. Joseph’s College of Early Childhood Education.

Paul Hannan pour tribute and wrote:

“I was absolutely gutted to hear of the passing of my friend Carrie Knowlton-Trider this weekend. Sometimes people come into your life and they leave an indelible mark on you. Carrie was one of those people. She was truly special, she had a beautiful soul that anyone could spot immediately. When I found out that she was battling cancer I was already neck deep in the cancer battle that my wife was fighting. Carrie and I talked but not enough. I thought that Vanida would beat it, I thought that Carrie would beat it. This is just crazy.”

Carrie Knowlton-Trider’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the positive impact she had on her community. As we remember her, let us extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and the RE/MAX family. May they find comfort and strength during this difficult time. Carrie will be deeply missed, and her smile will forever remain in our hearts.
