Captain Carl Reginald Squires, aged 52, departed peacefully on September 5th, surrounded by his family, following his courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He leaves behind cherished memories, deeply treasured by his wife Stefany, sons Jake and Jonah, parents William (Bill) Squires and Rosalie Learning, sisters Susan (Dave Sullivan) and Karen (Daniel Savignac), brother David (Deanne), and a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and fellow believers in the Lord.

Carl dedicated nearly 24 years to the Canadian Air Force, serving in various roles. His heart beat for men’s ministry, and he actively contributed to his local church and the national ministry of Promise Keepers.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Health Science Cancer Center and the dedicated hematology and oncology teams for their exceptional care and support. Special thanks are also extended to everyone who stood by him during the challenging journey with cancer over the past year.

Visitation will be held at Evangel Pentecostal Community Church, 130 Magee Rd, Gander NL, on Friday, September 8th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at Evangel Pentecostal Community Church on Saturday, September 9 at 2 pm.
