Brittany Murphy collapsed on the bathroom floor and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at 10 am; it was announced that she was no more on December 20, 2022. The Actress was 32 years old at the time of her death.
The news out in public was shared by her husband, Simon, and her mother, Sharon; they were living together and found her on the bathroom floor.
An autopsy was performed in The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, and after almost two months, the report was issued, which mentioned the cause of Murphy’s death.
In February 2010 report said that she died because of pneumonia, with secondary factors of severe iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
Drugs and medication were found in her body, which might be one of the causes of her death, but it was not only the cause behind her death.
Murphy’s body was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills among her close family member and husband, Simon, on December 24, 2009.

After the report was out, her mother and her husband claimed that she was not using drugs and argued that she had died before of a drug overdose. They also mentioned that she might die because of a heart condition, mitral valve prolapse.

Following the death of Actress on December 20, 2009, her husband Simon was found dead has the same place he was living with Murphy’s mother on May 23, 2010.
Simon’s death made people in shock, and many people were not believing the reason behind his death because the report said that Simon died because of acute pneumonia and severe anemia.

In December 2011, Sharon Murphy, the mother of Brittany Murphy, changed her stance, announcing that toxic mold was the reason behind her daughter’s and son-in-law’s death.
Sharon filed a lawsuit against the attorneys who represented her in an earlier suit against the home builders.
Murphy’s mother, Sharon, and Simon Monjack established the Brittany Murphy Foundation before Simon’s death.
Brittany Murphy Foundation is a charitable fund for children’s arts education, supporting the USO and Cancer research.
Still, people have not been convinced of the reason behind their death; it was a very sudden and unexpected death and the reason behind it.
