St. Louis, MO – The passing of Andrew “Dewey” Dorsey has deeply saddened his family, friends, and community. Andrew tragically lost his life due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, October 28, 2023. His untimely departure has left a profound void and many grappling with the inexplicable loss of such a cherished individual. He was born on April 28, 1986.
Son to Timothy and Marcia Dorsey, and beloved brother of Jack Dorsey and Daniel Dorsey (married to Ashlee Ogrzewalla), Andrew “Dewey” Joseph Dorsey, aged 37, was baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on that fateful day. His passing has sent shockwaves through the hearts of those who held him dear.
The family will begin receiving guests at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. A memorial Mass, celebrated by Andrew’s uncle, Father Dan Dorsey, will commence at 10:00 am. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be available via livestream.
In honor of Andrew’s memory, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Starkloff Disability Institute, the SSM Health Foundation, or the Glenmary Home Missionaries. Links for online donations to these organizations are provided below.
