Adam Hicks And Danni Tamburro Were Arrested For Armed Robbery
Adam Hicks and his girlfriend, Danni Tamburro, were arrested in Burbank, California, on January 25, 2018. The arrest was made on suspicion of armed robbery.
The couple allegedly robbed and tried to rob several victims in minutes on the streets of Burbank. They threatened people to give them money and goods while pointing a gun at them. It reportedly included two women in their 70s.
Police tracked down the suspect vehicle, a black SUV, identified Danni as the driver and tracked the pair back to their home. A gun and stolen items like money, cell phones, and others were found on the premises.
Adam went through a mental health checkup to ascertain whether he was competent enough to stand trial for the charges.

Although his arraignment was initially scheduled for March 23, 2019, his attorney notified the judge that his client was “not currently in a state to can assist in his defense.”
The arraignment and trial were canceled, and Adam was sent for further medical evaluation. In July 2019, he later pleaded not guilty to one count of second-degree robbery and one count of attempted second-degree robbery.
However, he pleaded no contest on another count of robbery. The first two charges were dismissed.
Later, in July 2021, Adam was found guilty of robbery and was given five years in state prison. Danni was given three years of probation.
However, Adam was released in March 2022 on parole. The judge credited the 1,460 days (more than four years) he served while awaiting sentencing.
Adam Hicks Had A History of Arrests
Adam Hicks was previously arrested twice in Los Angeles in 2017.
On the first occasion, the Actor shot himself in the leg while hanging out with friends. He told Police officers it was accidental but was described as ‘very uncooperative’ by legal documents.
The second time was in September 2017, when his girlfriend Danni accused him of battery. She told Police he pulled her by the hair, threw her against a car, and shoved her to the ground.
However, both cases were dropped without prosecution, with insufficient evidence cited on the first occasion and Danni’s refusal to cooperate on the second.
