In a harrowing incident, a Thai man and his 14-year-old daughter sought assistance from Move Forward Party (MFP) member of Parliament Wisarut Sawatworn after two men allegedly raped the girl at a hotel in Ubon Ratchathani province. The father, Phanu, recounted the traumatic event to MP Wisarut, revealing the distressing details of the assault.
The 40-year-old father reported that the sexual assault occurred on July 25 at a hotel in Ubon Ratchathani. A 20-year-old Thai man named Bas lured his daughter, Nok, to meet him and took her to the hotel. Despite Nok’s attempts to escape, she was caught by Bas and subsequently raped in the hotel room. Shockingly, hotel staff witnessed the incident but failed to intervene.
Bas left the hotel after a male hotel employee threatened him, but the employee then proceeded to rape Nok twice and confined her in the hotel room overnight. The next day, he took Nok to his residence for another assault. Nok kept the traumatic incident to herself until August 15 when she finally disclosed it to her father.
