Little Falls, New Jersey – In a heart-wrenching announcement, Passaic Valley Regional High School revealed the passing of their beloved English teacher, Amy Niosi, on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Ms. Niosi, aged 41, succumbed to a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of passion, strength, and friendship.

Amy Niosi, known for her vibrant personality and unique sense of humor, was more than an educator; she was a pillar of support and inspiration to her students and colleagues. Today, the Passaic Valley community mourns the loss of a passionate teacher and a resilient woman.

Passaic Valley Regional High School issued a statement expressing the profound impact of Ms. Niosi’s passing on both current students and PV alumni who were fortunate enough to have her as their teacher. Grief counselors will be available on Thursday, November 30, Friday, December 1, and Monday, December 4, to provide support during this difficult time.

Amy Niosi began her teaching journey in 2010 at Passaic Valley Regional High School, where she wholeheartedly embraced her role as an English teacher.
