Laura’s demise has left the community devastated, with her colleagues, friends, and acquaintances grappling with the sad news. Her death was confirmed through a heartfelt Facebook post that expressed deep sorrow over the loss of a remarkable individual.

Laura’s educational journey saw her pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California Polytechnic State University between 2000 and 2004. Later, she attended Whittier Law School, earning her Juris Doctor in 2007. During her formative years in the legal field, she engaged in a Federal Judicial Internship at the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court, showcasing her commitment and dedication to her profession.

Her professional career was marked by significant milestones. She began as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Jeffrey Metzger, focusing on employment law, E.R.I.S.A., bad faith insurance claims, and personal injury. Subsequently, she served as an Associate Attorney at McArdle & Vosskuhler, P.C., where her expertise continued to flourish. In November 2010, Laura attained the esteemed position of Partner at Whiting, Fallon, Ross & Abel LLP, a prestigious law firm based in Walnut Creek, California. Her tenure lasted an impressive 12 years and 11 months, showcasing her exemplary legal skills and dedication to her profession.

Following her remarkable journey at Whiting, Fallon, Ross & Abel LLP, Laura Ramsey dedicated her expertise to Family Law, joining Ross Family Law, P.C. in the San Francisco East Bay area. Her exceptional abilities were widely recognized within the legal community. She was honored as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Northern California from 2013 to 2017 and received the title of Rising Star from Northern California Super Lawyers during the same period. Additionally, in 2014, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys acknowledged her as one of the top 10 family law attorneys under 40, underscoring her significant contributions to the field.
