Former offensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League, Bill Ferrario played American football.

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played guard, Ferrario was a second-team All-Big Ten selection. He helped Michael Bennett and Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne get started.

Only the third player in Big Ten history to start all 50 games of a career, he did so. He was a Wisconsin Badgers player as well.

He assisted Wisconsin in becoming the only Big Ten school to win consecutive Rose Bowl Championships in 1999 and 2000.

The Green Bay Packers selected the Wausau resident, then 44, in that year’s draft. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he played for the Packers, Redskins, and Panthers.

The Green Bay Packers selected Ferrario in the fourth round (201st overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft.

He played in all 16 games for the Packers during the 2002 season when he was with them.

Ferrario was released on September 5, 2004 after being waived by Green Bay in 2003. On February 4, 2004, he signed with the Washington Redskins.

On November 11, 2004, he signed with the Carolina Panthers, but he did not participate in any games that year. On August 28, 2005, the Panthers released Farrario.

He was screaming and throwing items in his garage when the police came. Two residents of the house expressed their terror of Ferrario. He was then accused of unruly conduct.

He was also accused of driving under the influence for the second time on Wednesday. That accusation was based on a fall occurrence.

In accordance with his criminal complaint, on October 12 in the town of Wausau, police were called to a single-vehicle collision on County Highway X close to State Highway 52.

Ferrario was the only occupant, according to investigators, when his pickup truck and utility trailer missed a turn, went into the ditch, and got lodged in some trees.

Court records indicate Ferrario claimed that he had consumed alcohol before the collision. He was cited as adding, “From 4:30 a.m. until now, a bottle of vodka ranging from half to a third of a liter.” Around 11:45 a.m., that collision occurred.

A preliminary breath test result of.222, which is approximately three times the legal limit, was obtained.
