The authorities have not yet disclosed the reason behind the stabbing that led to the killing of Bob Lee. They have, however, stated that Nima Momeni and Lee had some familiarity with each other, contrary to earlier speculation that Lee’s murder was an act of random violence.
Bob Lee, the CEO of Cash App, a cryptocurrency startup, was discovered around 2:35 a.m. on April 4th, bleeding heavily near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. He was quickly taken to a hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Nima Momeni’s LinkedIn account indicated that his company, Expand IT, was founded in 2010 and had collaborated with clients in the healthcare, finance, and other sectors.
A resident who preferred to remain anonymous disclosed that a SWAT team and police officers came to arrest Nima Momeni on Thursday morning and instructed the inhabitants on his floor to stay indoors.
According to Russell Haynes, the proprietor of Coast Range Technologies in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nima Momeni was an IT consultant at his firm in 2006.
