Chris Hansen Mugshot: Is To Catch A Predator Host In Jail?

Chris Hansen’s mugshot does not exist since the To Catch a Predator host is not in jail at the moment.

However, a photo of his mugshot was created for his show’s promotional purposes only.

In January 2019, Hansen was arrested in Connecticut on charges of issuing a bad check and larceny after allegedly failing to pay a vendor $13,000 for marketing materials.

He later turned himself in to the police and was released after posting a bond.

While Hansen’s arrest made headlines at the time, he was not sentenced to jail time.

In September 2019, he reportedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors in which the charges against him would be dropped if he made restitution to the vendor and completed community service.

It is not known if he completed the community service, but the charges against him were dismissed in 2020.

Chris Hansen has faced several accusations and allegations throughout his career, both related and unrelated to his work on “To Catch a Predator.”

In 2018, he was accused by a former employee of not paying him for his work on a Kickstarter campaign to revive “To Catch a Predator.”

The employee claimed that Hansen promised to pay him a percentage of the funds raised but did not follow through on the agreement.

Hansen denied the allegations, saying he paid the employee what he owed.

As a result of a check that bounced with a vendor who provided promotional goods, Hansen was charged with larceny in January 2019.

According to Stamford Police, Hansen turned himself into Connecticut authorities on January 14 for allegedly forging checks for promotional materials worth close to $13,000. Later, the accusations were dropped.

The journalist was scheduled to appear and testify in a Michigan courtroom in July 2021 regarding an undercover operation in October 2020.

Hansen failed to appear in court, and in July 2021, a warrant was issued for his apprehension.

Later, he turned himself in and explained that he had missed court because of a miscommunication that was being cleared up.
